Hey all,
We are getting to the point now where we are considering getting involved with a promoter of some kind to get us more gigs around the northwest and get ourselves heard a lot more.
We're gaining popularity around Manchester a bit and want to spread that out to other places aswell. The much-hated 21 day rule is also a factor, we'd love to be playing a show every week somewhere but obviously thats impossible in Manchester.
So if anyone knows of any good, active (and preferably free) promoters that could help us please let me know. I've emailed a few but most seem to be pretty inactive, which isn't good for anyone.
If there happens to be any of the aforementioned promoters reading this then please please have a listen to us and get in touch. We've recently headlined the roadhouse and want to build on it!

if any promoter in your home area is charging you to pay or demanding you sell a minimum amount of tickets.. then think again.
A lot of promoters around the UK will ask you do do this in order to get a gig so either target the areas where you know you have a following ready to come and see you or start building a fan base around the areas you want to play.

Hey.
Try contacting Tiger Lounge and ask them for a few promoters that put on gigs there.
I hear its relativly cheap for promoters to hire out so they dont need to get alot of people in the venue to make their money back.
They might not need you to sell that many tickets.
This is just what Ive been told but its worth a shot.
