What is the difference ?

Replicated CD & DVD Disc's are made using Glass Master and pressed on to the Disc . T his is the same process used on professional products sold on the high street, and the same quality , depending on your original artwork. We supply a FREE unique barcode for retail tracking use, which some suppliers charge up to £60 for. We supply the barcode and create the barcode image for use on your artwork.

Duplicated CD & DVD Disc's are copied using a l arge duplication machine and the printed images can be the same as you would see in the high street but the content is Burned on to the CD-R or DVD-R disc using a multi burner. On body print is either thermal print or screen print. Packaging is normally limited to standard jewel cases and paper parts are usually digitally printed as screen or litho printing and die cut paper parts are usually price prohibitive for short runs. There is no need for a glass master with duplication, so with that cost removed it is more cost effective for low runs (below 500 units) ask for a Duplication quote now

Which one should you choose?

Runs under 500, for demos to send to promoters to get gigs, sending to local mags for reviews or to sell at a low price at gigs for a bit of extra cash into the band budget – Go for Duplication.

Runs upward of 500, for a single or album release that you intend to stock in your local record shops, sending to various music media to be reviewed as a release, sending to radio (a lot of radio stations won't play burned CD's), selling at gigs and just wanting the general perception of it being a serious release – Go for Replication.

TIP: A run of 1,000 u7sing a Glass Master costs just a fraction more than a run of 500 because we provide the glass master FREE for runs of 1,000+. In some case, depending on packaging choices, it can even be cheaper!
